Planning tool · accommodation capacity
Workforce camp capacity planner.
Convert headcount into rooms, area and container movements.
Use the proposed beds per room, reserve rooms and accommodation format to create a first-pass room count. Shared amenities, utilities and destination requirements remain separate project inputs.
The room count excludes shared amenities, offices, medical rooms, utilities and circulation. Add those to the project schedule separately.
What the result does
A visible first pass, not a hidden assumption
The calculation uses only the values entered on this page and the published loading references shown beside the result. It does not select a model, set a price, approve occupancy or replace a project-specific logistics and engineering review.

Does the planner decide how many occupants can legally use a room?
No. The user enters the proposed beds per room. The project team must confirm occupancy, fire, amenity, accessibility and welfare requirements for the destination and operating context.
Are shared kitchens and ablutions included?
No. The result covers the selected accommodation rooms. Add kitchens, ablutions, dining, recreation, laundry, offices, medical rooms, circulation and utility buildings to the camp programme separately.
Why include reserve rooms?
A reserve can support maintenance, isolation, arrivals, supervisor changes or seasonal peaks. The appropriate number is an operating decision, so the planner leaves it as a project input.
